Hi, I’m Sam

Welcome! I'm Sam McAvoy, and I am located in Central New York. I work in the fields of graphic and web design, studio media, and DSLR photography. I currently work as a freelance graphic designer and photographer. I photograph senior portraits, family portraits, professional headshots, animal/pet portraits, and more. I also take commissions for fine art, photography, and painting.

I center my personal projects around neurodiversity and the LGBTQ+ community. These subjects are personal to me as I am an artist and designer with ADHD. I’m deeply empathetic and I utilize that empathy in collaborations with my clients. I utilize my ADHD to my benefit; I find it to be a strength in the field of graphic design.

Outside of graphic design, I enjoy taking my camera on an adventure to capture photos of wild animals and the intricate aspects of nature. I also love snuggling up with my cat, exploring my mass amounts of craft supplies, and letting my curious brain dive deep into any interesting topic I can find.
